Did you know there are more volunteer firefighters in the United States than paid career firefighters? As of 2014, there were around 1,134,400 firefighters serving - of those firefighters, 31% or 346,150 were career firefighters and 69% or 788,250 were volunteers.
Volunteering is a great way to be of service, learn new skills, and be part of an amazing team. If you're interested in joining the Upper McKenzie Fire Protection District to help provide services to our community, we'd love to have you!

Upper McKenzie Rural Fire Protection District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
